Clothing Emergency Financial Assistance (EFA) Program
Need Clothing? NAMI Gulf Coast is Here to Help!
EFAs, or Emergency Financial Assistance Programs provide community members who are down on their luck with the resources needed to help them back on their feet and to achieve greater peace of mind and quality of life. NAMI Gulf Coast’s EFA program provides those in need with an adequate supply of clothing in their time of need.
Requirements for participating in our Clothing EFA program:

- Must present with significant need, such as financial hardship or traveler status (i.e. being without a home)
- Must present photo ID (if owned)
- Must not have received clothing from in the past six months
Individuals who meet this criteria will then be supplied with the necessary resources from our stock of men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing, shoes, and accessories.
A NOTE TO DONORS: Although our Second Chance Thrift Shop is no longer in business, rest assured that we will continue to offer clothing EFAs to those in need in our community who are referred to us or visit us as a walk-in. Additionally, we will continue to accept donations of gently used clothing at our office in Alvin.
If you are in need of clothing or would like to make a donation, please call us during business hours (M-F, 9am-5pm) at
